2008 Summer Challenge


The 2008 Challenge had us "Playing with Color" and designing a quilt using shades and tints of an assigned color (orange, yellow, green or blue) and, optionally, black and/or white.  The design could be abstract or representational; and use traditional or contemporary patterns or techniques.  The quilt could be any shape: square, rectangular, circular, oblong, irregular, etc.  The sides of the quilt should be no smaller than 9" and no larger than 36".
We had our largest field of entries (20 Quilts) in recent years, plus one quilt top that was shown but not entered.  Here are our colorful quilts:
