Quinobequin Quilters 2006/7 Comfort Quilts Service Project

Each year we work on comfort quilts during our regular February meeting.  This year we also planned additional opportunities to work together on this important project. In the spring of 2007, 29 quilts were given to children in foster care in metrowest Boston, 10 larger quilts were sent to Wayside Hospice in Wayland, a few were sent to clients of Brookside Community Health Center in Jamaica Plain, and more quilts were sent in June with Dr. Nancy Hendrie to the Roteang Orphanage in Cambodia.  The pictures, below, are of some of the quilts given to the hospice.
