Quinobequin Quilters 2007/8 Comfort Quilts Service Project
		Each year we work on comfort quilts during our regular February meeting, and we planned additional opportunities to work together on this important project. In the fall of 2007 over 40 quilts were delivered to various locations, including 9 to new children in foster care in the area, 7 larger quilts to Wayside Hospice in Wayland, and 20 given to Dr. Hendrie to bring to the Sharing Foundation's Roteang Orphanage in Cambodia. From Dr. Hendrie: "We really appreciate all the quilts you have sent, and the children are really delighted when they receive them.  Thanks so much!  For orphanage kids who really do not have anything that is 'their own' this is a very meaningful gift!  Our kids do not do Christmas, so these will be Cambodian New Year surprises.  Many thanks."
