| Welcome to Quinobequin Quilters Guild! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Join us at the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington St. in Wellesley the second Tuesday of the month (except for November 15). Membership in our guild is open to all. Come to a meeting and sign up. If you would like to attend as a guest ($5 admission), your admission is credited toward membership if you decide to join that night. Check out our programs for the year. We have a great line up of speakers and activities. Our September meeting featured some wonderful challenge quilts as well as an array of show-and-tell spectaculars from our members. Pictures of the 2010/11 round robin quilts revealed at the May meeting can be seen on the Photo Gallery page. If you have a finished comfort quilt or kit at any stage that's ready to turn in, bring it to our next meeting. More kits and quilt tops are available that need quilting or binding. New England Quilt Museum passes are available at the Natick, Needham, Wellesley, and Westwood libraries. (Some libraries loan passes to residents, others loan them to any Minuteman library card holder.) ****************** |

Since 1983, the members of Quinobequin Quilters have gathered to discuss, construct, admire, and learn about quilts, quilting, and all manner of techniques used in their creation. The Guild meets monthly, September through May, for programs that inspire fabric lovers and fiber artists of all skill levels. We share an appreciation for traditional to contemporary designs and construction methods. Meetings feature guest speakers from across New England and further afield, activities that support our efforts to provide community service, and the chance to learn from one another and share the results of our work. Our meetings are open to anyone who shares our love of quilting or who simply wants to learn more about it. |
