September 12, 2018 – Welcome Back Fall Social

Featuring our Summer Challenge Quilts and Show and Tell of our summer work. For our first meeting of the year, we also invite members to bring guests for free to introduce new quilters to QQ.

October 9, 2018 – Betsy Habich
presents Thread Painting 101 

Betsy will show examples of her thread paintings and explain exactly how it is done, taking the listener from selection of a photograph through thread choices, stitches used, how to achieve smooth color transitions, texture, detail, and finishing.

November 13, 2018 – Jen Sorenson presents A Journey to Modern Quilting (and trunk show)

Jen is an award winning and published quilter who loves paper piecing and making quilts with a modern aesthetic. Learn what inspires Jen and walk away with some tips and tricks.

December 11, 2018 – Holiday Party & Quilt Bingo

A spirited game of Quilt Bingo and Show & Tell highlight our seasonal get-together.

January 8, 2019 – Anthony Ferranti presents Sewing Machine Maintenance Tips and Best Practices

Anthony will discuss tips for keeping your machine(s) in good working condition. Machine Maintenance tips, best practices, and repair costs will be discussed along with time for Q&A. Members may bring a sewing machine to the meeting for repair in his workshop.

February 12, 2019 – Comfort Quilts

Join our annual comfort quilt marathon when we all work together to assemble quilts for children and families in need.

March 12, 2019 – QQ Auction

Our bi-annual auction to benefit the guild and the New England Quilt Museum.

April 9, 2019 – Members' Technique Showcase

QQ members demonstrate and teach some of their favorite techniques.

May 14, 2019 – Michelle Banton presents What if MacGyver Was a Quilter?

Michelle can't save the world like MacGyver can, but she can help save you time on some of your DIY projects. She will share tips and hacks for quilting and sewing that re-purpose and re-use everyday items that you probably already have around the house. Feel free to bring some of your own ideas to share during Q&A.
