September 12, 2017 – Welcome Back Fall Social

Featuring our Summer Challenge Quilts and Show and Tell of our summer work. For our first meeting of the year, we also invite members to bring guests for free to introduce new quilters to QQ.


October 10, 2017 – Iris Sonnenshein
 presents Hannah’s Journey: From Commission to Completion

Iris was commissioned to create a memory quilt honoring the mother of a client. She will describe her progress on this large quilt from initial images to completion, bringing it just before it goes to the client. 

November 14, 2017 – Marge Tucker presents My Life in Quilts: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Marge, an award winning quilt designer and quilting instructor, will discuss her inspiration for her many quilt designs and how quilting has changed her life.

December 19, 2017 – Holiday Party & Yankee Swap

A spirited fabric-themed Yankee Swap and Show & Tell highlight our seasonal get-together.

January 9, 2018 – Julie Brown Neu presents Quilts in U.S. History

Julie will discuss the history of quilting in the U.S. and how it reflects the country’s history from colonial times until the present.

February 20, 2018 – Comfort Quilts

This is our annual comfort quilt marathon when we all work together on quilts for children and families in need.

March 13, 2018 – Amy Ropple presents Inspirations

Amy will talk about the road she’s taken as an artist, including processes used, recent work utilizing digital prints on fabric,…and…BEADS! 

April 10, 2018 – Members' Technique Showcase

QQ members demonstrate and teach some of their favorite techniques.

May 8, 2018 – Adele Scott presents Modern Methods for Traditional Quilting

Adele will take a traditional quilt and break down the parts with tips, techniques, and products to make it easier to sew and achieve expert results.
