2020 - 2021 Programs

 

The Guild usually meets at the Congregational Church of Needham (directions available here), though this year we will meet online via Zoom (link emailed to members). You are invited to sign on at 7:15 pm for socializing. Meetings begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Please note the following dates on your calendar:

 

September 8, 2020 – Welcome Back Meet 'n Greet

Meet new members, reconnect with old friends, check out the Summer Challenge entries and see what wonderful creations people have made this summer! 

 

October 13, 2020 – Linda Pearl presents "But I Didn’t Mean to Break the Rules"

Linda shows us how to avoid copyright infringement and still create our own wonderful art.

November 10, 2020 – Susie Monday presents "Digital Beyond Photos"

Susie guides us how to use our tablets or computers to incorporate filters and effects into our designs.

December 8, 2020 – Holiday Fun!

Join us for some fun and new holiday activities!

January 12, 2021 – Lyric Kinard presents "Cutting Edge Abstract Design - Hands-on Art"

Lyric will show us how to take an ordinary object and transform it into something Wow!

 

February 9, 2021 – Comfort Quilts

Zoom in on our annual Comfort Quilt marathon when we all work together to assemble quilts for children and families in need.

March 9, 2021 – Member Demos

QQ members demonstrate and teach some of their favorite techniques. Come learn from our talented community!

April 13, 2021 – Catherine Gentile presents "Put Your Best Foot Forward"

Catherine will unlock the secrets to many of the presser feet we may already have, or may acquire, to make some of those stitching tasks so much easier!

​

May 11, 2021 – Catherine Gentile presents "Sewing Feats"

Catherine returns this month with tips and tricks to make your sewing go more smoothly.

​

We plan to continue meeting this summer on 2nd Tuesdays via Zoom to stay connected and share our work. Meeting details will be emailed to members.
