2025 - 2026 Programs

 

The Guild meets at the Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Ave, (directions available here), except for January and February of 2025 when we will meet online via Zoom (link emailed to members). You are invited to arrive at 7:00 pm for socializing. Meetings begin promptly at 7:30 pm.

September 9, 2025 – Welcome Back Social, Show & Share

Welcome new members, reconnect with old friends, view the Summer Challenge entries and see what wonderful creations people have made this summer! 

 

October 14, 2025 – Janet Elia presents “Finish with a Spiffy Binding”

Janet joins us from Taunton, MA. She has received numerous awards for quilting, applique and embroidery; and her quilts have been juried into shows in New England and across the US. In addition to quilting and teaching, she is an accomplished water color painter.

November 18, 2025 (3rd Tuesday) – Comfort Quilts Quilting Bee

Join us for a fun evening as we work together on our service project making quilts for Project Linus and a local women’s shelter.

November 21-24, 2025 – Cape Cod Weekend Retreat at Bayside Resort, West Yarmouth

December 9, 2025 – Holiday Social

Join us for some fun festive activities and refreshments!

January 10, 2026 – QQ Local Winter Retreat

9am - 3:30pm at Temple Beth Shalom. Sign up required.

January 13, 2026 – Susan Michaels presents “How to Tame your Stash” via Zoom

Sue is an independent pattern designer, blogger, teacher and presenter for all things quilting. She joins us from Stratham, NH and has been quilting for over 30 years.  

 

February 10, 2026 – Barbara Vedder presents “Quilts—the Story of My Life” via Zoom

Barb joins us from Madison, CT to share her philosophy that quilting should be exciting and fun! Her presentation will be followed by a trunk show of quilts representing her 30 year journey in quilt making and design, offering quilting knowledge and inspiration in an informative and entertaining style.

March 10, 2026 – Sara Schechner presents Story of my Quilting Life

March 27-28, 2026 – Quinobequin Quilters Quilt Show

Open 10am to 5pm on Friday & Saturday at the Needham Masonic Hall 1101 Highland Ave, Needham, MA. Admission $10.

April 14, 2026 – Barbara Graceffa presents "If Picasso was a Quilter: How to Cultivate Your Creative Genius"

Barbara joins us from Quincy, MA. She is an award-winning quilter and teacher, talented interior decorator (dba Secretary of the Interior), and published author who has offered quilt programs to students in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

May 12, 2026 – End of Year Ice Cream Social

​Our last meeting before summer break. Bring your recently completed quilts to share. The Summer Challenge project will be presented.​​​​
