| Welcome to Quinobequin Quilters Guild! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The February/March newsletter is now posted online. Our 2010 Spring Quilt Show is in just 3 weeks! Please sign up to help staff the show (admissions/raffle desk, white glovers, boutique, set up/take down). This is our biggest opportunity to share our love of quilting with the community by displaying our recent work. Our next meeting is March 9th when Lynn DiRusso will present a trunk show. The January 12th meeting was our annual auction of many quilt-related items. We raised more than last year - great job supporting the quilt museum and our guild! If you have a finished comfort quilt or a kit at any stage that's ready to turn in, bring it to our next meeting. More kits and quilt tops are available that need quilting or binding. New England Quilt Museum passes are available at the Natick, Needham, Wellesley, and Westwood libraries. (Some libraries loan passes to residents, others loan them to any Minuteman library card holder.) ****************** Membership in our guild is open, come to any meeting and sign up. If you would like to check us out as a guest ($5 admission), your admission is credited toward membership if you decide to join that night. |

Since 1983, the members of Quinobequin Quilters have gathered to discuss, construct, admire, and learn about quilts, quilting, and all manner of techniques used in their creation. The Guild meets monthly, September through May, for programs that inspire fabric lovers and fiber artists of all skill levels. We share an appreciation for traditional to contemporary designs and construction methods. Meetings feature guest speakers from across New England and further afield, activities that support our efforts to provide community service, and the chance to learn from one another and share the results of our work. Our meetings are open to anyone who shares our love of quilting or who simply wants to learn more about it. |
